  • How can I make a booking for a private river cruise with Aquarius Charters?
To make a booking for a private river cruise with Aquarius Charters, you can contact us through phone, email, messenger, or by filling in our enquiry form on the website. Our event planner will then put together a cruise proposal and quote for you to consider.
  • How many guests can you host on board Aquarius Charters?
We're licenced by AMSA to carry up to 60 guests.
  • Where do we get on and off the boat?
We can use any of the available pontoons along the river including Felons, New Farm Park, Northshore and Botanical Gardens. Some have parking which is useful and we can drop you in a different spot from where you boarded if you want to kick on. We often pick up at Brew Dogs brewery where guests have easy parking then drop off at Felons so you're in the city, or another option is a sunset cruise dropping off at Northshore so you can go straight to Eat Street! Call us and we can help you plan the best option for your event.
  • What if it rains on the day??
Not a problem, the bar is inside and there is cover most areas of the boat including upstairs on the sundeck.
  • Can I play my own music?
Sure, we use Spotify so get busy on a playlist send us a link and we'll play it on shuffle It's sometimes a good idea to have an extra playlist of your real favourite party starters to get people dancing! As ask the bar to skip tunes or change playlists anytime.
  • What's the deal with food on board?
OMG you will love our food, we are so proud of what we offer on board! We can also make special arrangements for any special requests, just ask! Let us know any special diet requirements we need to be aware of too, we've got options to cater for vegetarian, gluten intolerant etc which are surprisingly just as tasty as 'normal' food! 😁 That sounds terrible but the vegetarian Gyoza blew my mind! Oh, and the spring rolls too, so good!
  • Does Aquarius Charters have Liability Insurance.
Yes, we are fully insured with US$ 500,000,000 of cover (each incident all claims) A copy of our current certificate is available on request.
  • Is a charter cruise safe?
Yes! Very safe, we meet or exceed all AMSA requirements and hold as AMSA certificate of operation. We have a current survey to satisfy our insurance requirements, carry life jackets for all passengers, fire hoses, extinguishers and fire suppression systems. The Condor also boasts 8 separate watertight compartments, all fitted with their own pumps! The crews razor sharp wit is probably the most dangerous thing on board!
  • Can we cater for people with disabilities?
Maybe, the Condor is very stable once you are on board but you do have to board via a gangplank and there are wave blocks in the doors, which means you have to lift your feet 30cm to enter a doorway. Look, really the answer is no, but I can't answer for someone who wants to come aboard and I'll do anything I can to help it happen if it's going to bring a smile to someone's face! So, If you think it's possible, give me a ring!
