  • How do i book my cruise.

When you are ready to book your cruise, we need to have the Quote/Booking form completed and returned to us for processing. If you do not have this form, please ask us for one to be sent. In order to secure the date that you want for your cruise, we need a $550.00 deposit to secure your date. Until we see that the deposit has been made, the date in question can be secured by the first person to supply their deposit. You may terminate your cruise up to 21 day's prior to your cruise date, and a full refund will be given. After the 21 day period, no refund is applicable. If we encounter severe weather on your cruise day, you will be given the option of another day, or a full refund less a 10% administration fee. We do not regard rain as severe weather.

  • How do i pay for my cruise.

We will contact you approximately 10 days prior to your cruise date to check all of your details, and advise you of the total amount that is due. Please note that we do not accept Credit Cards of any kind. You may pay by Direct Deposit, Cash or Cheque. Full payment must be made 7 day's prior to your cruise date. No Payment means NO CRUISE.

  • What happens when my cruise day has arrived.

We will arrive at the chosen jetty approximately 10 minutes prior to your pick-up time. Passengers should be ready to board immedietly. Due to the demand for the use of the jetties, we are not able to tie up for long periods of time. We simply cannot wait for people who are running late. The best idea is to have your group arrive well ahead of time.

  • How do i get my Alcohol to the boat.

On your cruise day, you can arrange with us to drop off your drinks before your cruise begins, or you can bring them onboard when you board the vessel. If you prefer you can ring the Storey Bridge Hotel and give them your order, and pay them. Please tell them its to be delivered to Aquarius Charters, and they will look after the delivery for you. Unfortunately Aquarius Charters cannot accept payment for your drinks.

  • Will i be safe aboard the vessel.

Your safety aboard our vessel is very important to us. We also need your help to make our vessel a safe enviroment for everybody. Anybody displaying an intoxicated behavior, will be asked to settle down or face being removed from the vessel. If this advise is not taken into account by the cruise organiser, the cruise will come to a premature end. Thankfully we have not needed this drastic action as yet, and hold a perfect safety record for all our cruises. We want your cruise to be enjoyed by everyone aboard.

  • Can i decorate the boat and bring my own drinks.

You are welcome to load your drinks and ice, and decorate up to 3 hours before your cruise time, unless otherwise arranged. Baloons, streamers, banners etc. are fine, but we do not allow confetti, glitter or party poppers etc. This is done at our Marina at Cnr of Rotherham sts and Goodwin sts. We do have 3 very large eskies for you to use on the vessel. Near the end of your cruise, we will ask you to gather your belongings and pack up any remaining drinks, ready for departure. Once again we need to disembark everybody at your chosen cruise end time, without delay, or further charges will apply. Any items left behind, will be kept in secure storage for collection at a time that suits Aquarius Charters. This may be a few day's time, or until our next cruise. We will not make special trips to the vessel for you to collect your belongings.

  • We're having a ball, can we keep going longer.

Yes you can. If you would like to cruise for more time, please check with one of the Aquarius Charters team onboard. They will advise you of the cost and any other issues that might arise, such as jetty bookings etc. Extra time must be paid for, at that time by cash only.

  • What if i feel seasick.

Very rarely do we have anyone who becomes sea sick on the river. The only exceptions are to much alcohol. If you suffer a very week stomach, you may consider taking medication a few hours prior to your cruise. It's no good taking anything once you feel ill.

  • Footwear

High heels look great, but are not a good option for any vessel. The movement of the vessel makes them very unstable. A flat dress shoe or runner is more suitable.

The Most important thing is to have a great time on your cruise. Aquarius Charters always strives hard to make your cruise special. At all times there is a crew member on board who will help you with your needs and answer any queries you may have.
